Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to ask is there a way of trimming the beak and nails without either doing it yourself or taking to a vet?

its just a general question my hermanne is fine but its just for future.

Depends. If your keeping them outside. They'll naturally wear down both beaks and nails from terrain. Indoors, you could try feeding on a piece of cinder block. As for the nails, I'm not to sure about indoors, but think about it like this; the ground isn't perfectly flat outdoors. There are hills and different terrain. Maybe bury logs and rocks under substrate to create little hills. Just be weary of your tort flipping.
