Well it’s late in the egg laying season for me and my smallest female was nesting last night. Halfway through the process I began to see her dripping blood. Don’t worry she appears to be fine but was just a first for me, I gave her a warm soak and look at her tail every thing sees ok. Anyone else have experience with this.

Mine never had blood. Not that I had a lot of clutches, 4 or 5. Is she unusually small? Were the eggs larger then normal?

I've had males injure their penises and found blood everywhere, but I've never had blood from a female.

I'd get an x-ray to see if you've got a broken egg up there.

I’m not to worry as the bleeding started before the eggs came out and ended after and she is eating and no blood after she Finished laying
