No @Beasty_Artemis I just heard that they do and I was wondering if it was true. I keep tarantulas and trust me they bond to nothing but there food LOL. I would think they do not but I was just wondering is all

The only bonding they do is to see you as the food god. Some males try to mate with your foot.

Set a tortoise free on an unfenced property and you will see that they are not bonded to anything. They walk away without taking notice of you.

Chances are that you will bond with your tort before it ever bonds to you. Doubtful that tortoises will ever become domesticated in that sense.

Kamp Kenan's tortoises always walk up to him when he goes into their enclosures. But they're more likely just looking to see if he has food lol
