Hello, petunia is a yearling Mojave desert tortoise. She has been sting normally, except today really didn’t want to come out. She did not Brumate this year. I was examining her, and there is this Seam for lack of a better word on the bottom of her shell it’s white with like red in the middle? It protrudes slightly. What is this :( it doesn’t look right.

Looks like new growth lines. I wouldn't be worried.

This is a sign of growth, and being healthy. You want to see this it means growth is happening and your doing something right. If there was no pink line you would need to re think how you are caring for your tort .... but they are there so she is eating, processing and growing.

How is her behavior? Is she acting and eating normally?

She is perhaps being a little bit more fussy than normal. I was thinking maybe maybe reintroduced her to the outdoors too quickly though. But everything is pretty normal lol. Except for me. I’m abnormally anxious about everything 🤩
Thank you.
