I know bubbles come out of my tortoises nose when he eats cactus! Was he eating something slimy like that?

Bubbles coming out of a tort's nose can happen when eating something slimy... but it also an indication of a respiratory (breathing) illness known as URI (Upper Respiratory Infection)

If the bubbles don't go away, it is important to keep your tortoise warm and take it to a specialist vet for a check up as soon as possible. It may need antibiotics. Most URI are mild, but it can be fatal. Don't let it mix with other tortoises until you are sure it is well.

He was eating allot of cucumber, lettuce and carrot for about 3 days. He starting having runny poos so I fed him normal pellets,he never bubbled since.I think it might be because of all the cucumber and carrots and stuff! :) thanks

That could have been it! Try giving him that stuff again and see if you get bubbles!

The loose stool is the cucumber, and possibly the lettuce if its iceburg. Cucumbers are mainly water as well as iceburg lettuce. Try red tip romain, endive, mustard, turnip greens, yellow squash, dandelion and lots of cactus and grass. The loose stool is just a diet issue, as well as more than likely the bubbles.
