i thought it wasnt a good idea to keep torts in all glass tanks? they dont understand invisible barriers. anyway it looks like you did a good job, i was looking into building a large aquarium(over 125gal) that way but it's just cheaper to buy a used one usually

It depends on the tortoise. I have not found mine to have problems with the clear sides. I also think, young ones adapt to them better. The nice thing is, these kinds of enclosures are usually easier to hold moisture in.

Yes, that is all that holds it together. I did use a top grade that is non toxic and will hold up to moisture and heat, and stay flexible.
