There are 7 types of opuntia 6 spineless and the one with yellow and orange blooms. I will fill any leftover space with more pads.View attachment 213134
I like the looks of the wavy one, does it get tall or spread out ? I've never tasted mulberry either, never thought about tasting it.Yeah, scary long spines on the red pad. I do taste it off and on to see what may be an indicator of palatbility. I do that with mulberry leaves too.

The funny thing is, the County I live in doesn't even have a movie theater let alone a Latin market.I do find it kind of funny that most everyone can not find nopales in their local Latin markets. They're so cheap here that I don't even harvest the ones on my plants growing on the hillside that I planted.
