Hello all, this is flo, the new member to the Newton household. She is 10months. She has a little pyramiding, but that will be the end of that now. She's had a bath, had an explore, had a sleep and had a dig. I luff her she's in there until shortly before lights out now, when shell have another soak. I'm resisting the urge to fuss over her, and just letting her settle in and well, be a tortoise...

I like "older"names for tortoises, my other, Phillip, is fairly young and already looks a bit like an "old man" haha, if I had chosen a younger trendy name I think they would grow out of it quite fast... It was a toss up between flo and edie, and she just "looks" like a flo to me now assuming she truly is a she... But that is for another day

Thanks all she's bathed, warm and bed now. In her little hide invested in a thermostat for the nights. Can keep an eye out whilst I'm in and out during the day but didn't want to risk it getting too cold whilst wet. Humidity is at 80%, all running smooth so far...

She looks great. In a year or so, once you've got her all smoothed out, you'll have to take her back to the breeder and show him how to do it right. She looks happy and healthy. Looks like you've got a great variety of things for her to eat too.
