I took some today so will post them in my other thread so that this thread can stay as the care sheet thread.HA! Well let me be the first to formally invite you, in writing, to take your foot off those brakes!!! Post those pics woman! As many as you want!
You are welcome. I took the older females weight tonight for you. 1.096kg. I must still measure her for you. The male I will weigh in the morning when he comes out to bask in the sun. Liitle Rue was 80g today. I must also measure her. But she was too fidgety after her soak this evening to measure.Love the pics Carol, keep them coming, weights and measures certainly help. Thanks again
Blue the male was harder to get his weight. As he did not want to stay still so had to put him on his back and take a pic to be able to read it. It is not the best quality sorry. But it reads 1.574kg I will do measurements another day as don't want to stress them out too much. You are welcome. I took the older females weight tonight for you. 1.096kg. You are both welcome. That is a great bunch of pics! Thanks Carol!
I just read my response and realised that i replied to Toms post with a both welcome. So not sure if you would have seen it. But you are welcome. I actually wasn't expecting to see any tortioses and had to scramble for my phone. Anyway the pics were taken especially for you guys. The first pics taken were of the two tortoises and the one was chasing the other one. At first it looked like the one chasing was a female. I thought it was wierd that the female was chasing a male. Then after looking at the pics i realised that it was a male. I am presuming it must be a younger male as the curve in the plastron is not as defined as the other one. The last pic of the adult on it's own, he was a bit bigger than the others and he looked a little worse for wear. But I saw him on the opposite side of the resort well away from the others.Really Great Carol! Thank so much for sending these.
