I have a 5 month old Egyptian and he seems to be doing really well. He is eating very well and shows no sign of lethargy. He does get outside wandering time with lots of organic/natural diet. However I am having two things happen: 1. He seems to be getting chubby around the chin the last week or so. It could just be normal growth, but I wanted some other opinions. I posted the pics were it was most notable. It is coming at the same time where his legs were getting more developed and defined as well.
2. His face is dry and gets stained very easily. He gets one or two long soaks a day and tons of wet greens. I know this breed is recommended to keep with low humidity. I aloe his face and shell every few days too. Is there a way to keep him from staining? I know the green ring can also be a sign of a poo eater, but he mostly goes in his water and if it is in the cage it has never been touched.
