Can a baby Hermann be raised in a closed chamber or would shell rot become an issue?

Hermanni are not prone to shell rot at all. And there is no reason that using a closed chamber means that you have to have high humidity. Closed chambers just make it easy to maintain whatever temps and humidity you want. It doesn't have to be swampy.
