I need to hire you to bring some color to our yard.
Are the bird houses designed for a particular bird?
Between grands and great grands we only have two girls. She's going to be fun to spoil.Congratulations to you and the mum and dad! I hope she continues to thrive and goes from strength to strength. I bet they can't wait to get her home.
Human babies are just so darned cute!!!I have a new adopted great granddaughter. She is Levi's sister and a premie too at 36 weeks. She came off oxygen this morning and other stuff later. This is everyone's first photo of herView attachment 354072.![]()
I've only actually seen Sapphire drink from his water dish once in 15 years but he drank like he was totally comfortable with it. And that it was a habit. There's no way I can watch him 24 hours a dayLola is the same - I rarely see him drink from his water dish or in his soak. His food is well hydrated though and he's peeing well so I assume his hydration is OK.
I love it. Are you making them of some of your log scavenging yet?

I'll send some prayers for the family, Rose, and Naynay.Well my mother in law got back from a 4 month stay in the Philippines a few days ago. We got word today that her sister passed away. Rose and Nanay will be flying to the Philippines on Tuesday. It will just be Opo and me for 17 days. We will see what kind of trouble him and I can get into together.

Hey Jeff, I started in the trade working for Campbell in 1968 and retired from the trade in 2002 while working for Campbell. Their were many other companies in between though.Over at Kerry's this past w/e .....went to make a PBJ over at ....found some real bread, applied 1/2" coating of smooth PB....then went looking for jam....and looking and looking...where the heck....what's this?

WTH? Is this even legal?? I didn't open it, didn't smell it, just put it back!
Thankfully I would some pineapple preserves....
Have to drive from work to Dover tomorrow for the Chiro,, not looking forward to the long day but maybe just maybe, he can start me on a path.
Got home this morning, got my shed roof insulated yesterday. All above my head and up & down ladder for 2 hrs....yuck. The back that the chiropractor will be working on didn't like it any more than my left knee...but I have enough left to do the side walls on the long sides and might be able to piece the short sides too. And, it was free, 35 years ago when Tommy Roberts sent a Walter Campbell truck load to my old house and gave it to me!
Lowes blew us off Friday with the lime and lumber till Weds, so it gets better for me as Kerry & son will now unload<LOL>! I told her to put it in the new shed to get some weight in it! 800lb ought to help in case it gets real windy.
Sorry to hear of your sis-in-law Ray, hope that your wife has a good, uneventful trip.
Little tired, little gloomy today...matches the drizzly weather we have...40F and rainy.....
Ok it's mid February. That's what Sapphire says is the beginning of spring. They don't poop much if they eat and fly around in your homeGood morning/afternoon all,
Quite a grey day here and there's some drizzle, but a bit warmer.
One of my hibernating butterflies has woken but it's still too cold for them to be outside and there's not enough food about yet for it to survive, so I put him in the fridge to settle down again and he's back up on the ceiling now. Hopefully he'll be happy there for another couple of weeks. It's always a dilemma when they wake early but from what I've read on the butterfly conservation website, to let them out before it reaches about 60F would kill them. So better safe than sorry.
Saturday again! The weeks are rolling by really quickly.
I hope you all have a good weekend!

I like the design in the front. Maybe the little house finches here would like it for a nest under our awning. Every year they try but the awning by itself won't work.
I watch Saturday morning for kids TV and saw those on there once. I think they were using them for sea turtles. There's amazing little devices for conservation being used now.
Only 2 this year and I think they are adult red admirals. The cold in the fridge puts them back into a dormant state but the lively one has changed positions on the ceiling a few times since I put him back. I'm keeping it quite dark upstairs where they are but I may have to let him take his chances in a few days if he still wants to go.How many butterflies do you have?Do they hibernate in the form of a butterfly? Or are they some type of a caterpillar when you put them in the fridge?
Someone could have a good little business shipping them out to tortoise owners.I have just been reading in the newspaper that opuntia -prickly pear - cacti are growing wild in parts of Switzerland and becoming impossible to get rid of ! Also to a lesser extent in Italy. I'm sure there will be a lot of happy tortoises around! Maybe they will become wild in England too - hopefully in the Southwest.
