You guys sure go through a lot Ray, glad to hear good news!

My Zenni saga continues with my filing a claim on Paypal.

The Zenni Standard;
1. Includes 1 lens being removable
2. Light between lens and frame
3. Such misalignment that frame cannot capture lens

This is the Replacement pair too!

Full disclosure; Zenni wants me to return both pairs for "inspection", then they want time to "make a determination" further dragging this out, seemingly intentionally. Upon receiving this news, I filed the claim....no more, they had 2 chances. I just want to end my relationship with them. They pretty much, suck to me.

How was the concert, Lyn? We're you rocking? Do they still play Pinball Wizard?
Ever since I was a young boy
I've played the silver ball.....
Does Zenni have customer service in the U.S.?

I let temu send me notifications is all I can think of to cause all the crap. They have some things I want for Christmas presents 😁 so I'm not getting rid of them soon.
And well...temu has some pretty little hand held fans a lady can carry in her bag for cheap cheap. I've seen one in person and they're really nice stocking stuffers. I'm about to order about 20 of them in various patterns. They're so retro.

Ms Cathie, I think I read that the DOJ has opened an investigation into TEMU.....FYI!!
"The Mo you know";
"Jun 22, 2023 — A Congressional report published Thursday offered a blistering critique of popular Chinese retailers Temu and Shein, with lawmakers accusing them of using forced labor...."

I know this is going to bother you, because it bothers me......but don't worry about things that you didn't know.

We have a DEADHEAD>?????? That's frickin fantastic, I honestly thought you guys all died out behind someone's' house somewhere.....LOL, teasing of course! Partied with a few in the day, good times for everyone. There is something special about seeing those guys still play.
Music; it's the time machine that we all get to ride on!

Super happy for you Lyn & it sounds like it was a really great show too! UB40 is a pretty good warmup band too!
The think about performers is, they WANT to wow you every single show...they really do. It's obviously what they live for!

Ray, worse case is I can use my old glasses, I'm just not paying for junk. To answer; Zenni appears to use AI based customer service. I saw nothing to indicate any part of their company was overseas based but I don't know for sure. I read a huge amount online and maybe that makes it easier for me to spot. The kicker was the follow up email from them asking how good or not "Casey" was, it even included a little bio how she likes her dog and takes walks! If you answer that email, it shows them, how successful they were. The responses I received from Casey were linear and not specific. So I offered them a deal which by acceptance, they agreed with. I knew it would be unable to differentiate but they will get better, they all will. My thinking is that their time for inspection has passed. That might have been a neato thing to do before they sent them to me, twice. Now, they will likely have to refund my money, as they well should. I ordered them on June 2nd, it's now 7/18.

Kerry knows I'm dealing w/a lot of questions so she snuck over last night after I went to bed and stayed in the other rooms just to be there. Not knowing any of this, I wake at 1:15 this morning and my foot didn't hit the floor before my phone dinged with a text "It's too early for you to wake up, go back to bed honey" WTH??? How did she know??? Then she came in my room.....what a cool way to wake up. She said she was sleeping on couch in the living room and my daughter came in at 11PM, picked up a few of her things and left never knowing Kerry was 10 feet away! Kerry said she didn't want to say something in the dark and scare her so she just stayed quiet. Still, pretty special.

Hi Jeff - I am proud to admit I have been a Deadhead since I first heard them on some radio programme - the song was Terrapin Station, and I was hooked from then on. I didn't have time -or money - to go to see them then, and of course they were mainly in the USA - however, their music really gripped me in a way nothing else had ever done. I washeartbroken when Jerry Garcia died, and have specified that I want Stella Blue played when my ashes are tipped into the sea !

Another hazy hot humid day in Maryland. Makes it hard & uncomfortable to be out baking in the sun kayaking and equally as hard to work in the garden. Sweating to death.

The sun and heat are good for our little garden, but not much else.

But….today we beat the heat. Just back from Tractor Supply Company with a red neck pool. Yep, a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank that’s already filling. 6x6x2 ft deep. Think the size of the bed in a Ford F-150.

Is everyone else coping with the heat?

Fresh from the garden.

It's not been crazy hot here. Just smokey and humid which means I can't get out much. The humidity makes it feel even hotter though. I'm trying to stay busy with crafts and critters. That isn't hard to do with critters. They help heap on some chores 🥴😉

It's rare so I appreciate your level of passion for music Angie...whose it is is special to you. It's also a small world. I saw the Stones, down the street from where Mark lives, at the old long torn-down Capital Centre in '81 or so. It was their 1st "Final Tour"...lol

Great veggies Mark, nice pic too...prob smells good too. It's been like breathing underwater for copd folks, w/o the scuba gear! Some folks are getting beat up by it.

I congratulate you on becoming an official Maryland Redneck LOL....enjoy brother, it's hot out there! Leave it in the sun so it heats up then toss a circ pump and you'll have, yup, a hillbilly hot tub!

They probably aren't the only company in China doing that crap and the US buys it because we have to. When we were all locked up and couldn't get things from China, Office Max's shelves were bare. Temu has some beautiful hand held paper or cloth fans. Just really cute. Making them can't be as abusive as electronics and such. They are picking on the wrong company to avoid the obvious.

Funny thing about the covid supply chain price increases! Years ago I converted from an Intex to an 8×8×2 tedneck pool with a sand filter. Dogs and humans had fun for years. Earlier this year I sold the set up since they were now hot! Didn't lose a dime on the original price and enjoyed for years

I had heard about Zenni a few years ago. There was a person on the radio. That got about a 10 minute spot during the news. He always gives info on how to save money. He spoke about Zenni and how inexpensive their glasses were. He tries to push american made. So he let the listeners know that Zenni was located in China. That's why I had the impression Zenni was located in China.

My son Jim was fishing a salmon tournament last weekend on lake Michigan. One of his friends took a picture of my boat while they were on the water. In the last 20 years or so, I have caught a lot of salmon on my little fishing machine. As soon as my son says he is ready, we will buy a bigger boat.

I grew up on the water, a Trophy is one of the premier boat builders....serious $$, serious quality.

That's a nice rig Ray!
Thanks it has treated me well since 2002.🤞🤞
I am glad my sons are getting use out of it and the boat is always waiting for me when I get up there. My friends here in Florida keep asking why I don't bring it to FL. I tell them I don't want to deal with the salt water.

I ran my last one in the brackish water of the Bay here and was real good about flushing the outboard and washing the trailer, but after 3 years of heavy(3-4times a week) use, my old Expedition rotted out where the rear struts attach! I hadn't washed the truck! When the guy told me, it all made sense. I had originally bought the boat from the Lancaster PA chief of police who used it on the lakes in PA....b/c it was a freshwater boat!

I get leaving it up there....it's very different if you are by yourself, prob difficult too.....being with them makes it fun and you don't have to do every single thing by yourself. You also get the bonus joy when they say "hey dad, we went out on the boat today"

We had zero power in this part of the county coming in this morning. It was raining hard all the way in...40mph on the highways...and it just turned black at Upper Marlboro & south. No lights on anywhere but headlights! I drove in expecting power out but our building was good, the 7-11 next door, blacked out! It's eerie to see large shopping centers completely blacked out along with all the traffic lights as you drive. Wonder if the cops were busy? Didn't see any of them, kinda surprised in this neck of the woods.

On YouTube there is a guy that takes videos of people trying to launch their boats or pulling them out at a boat launch in Miami. It is hilarious to watch the predicaments some people get into. Everytime someone would back in to far and get the rear axle of the vehicle wet. He would always say something about it. One time he explained why, he said something to the effect of that person's undercarriage was gonna corrode because of the salt water.
Does your building have a backup generator?
It's nice fishing with my sons and now my grandchildren are getting big enough to fish also.

Ok. Day two of Red Neck hot tubbing….and it’s perfect. Hazy hot & humid outside 90F and HUMID. Our “pool” a cool 80 i think…and just so refreshing. Wifey was “skeptical” at best but goes with the flow. After our first soak yesterday she said……ok, I’ll admit, this is really nice. We both felt so “refreshed” after soaking.

We just finished another nice swim. Equally as refreshing.

Stopped by ACE Hardware this afternoon & picked up two pool “noodles” for our pool. Wifey bought beer!

I went nuts and ordered my beautiful handheld fans for my girls for Christmas. They'll have them for August probably.😂 They'll look like southern belles. I wanted them before our.gov decided temu does worse things then Apple for iphones and iPads.🤔 which I doubt.
