Get plenty of puppy pads in for the floor!!
I
Dear Lyn,

I was in the audience watching Murray McLachlan playing Haydn, Beethoven, Godowsky and Chopin. It was a wonderful concert and I enjoyed a good buffet at the end. On the way home now.

Natrah
How wonderful 😊 that's three of my favorite composers and maybe Godowsky also.🤗

Also puppy pads are in the plan plus a play pen 😁😁

Are you getting a rat? It looks like a rat. What the heck, don't you have Dilly the cat, Raz the bunny and Joe the brother? LOL

Congrats!

Nuts IMHO but it's cool, I don't have to clean up after the rat. I kinda breezed through the posts.....please tell me it's not a lab?

Actually a Lab would be funny as heck....he's walk around the house with Razberry in his mouth, not hurting it, just "holding it". Labs will do that.

The Cathedral is spectacular, thanks for posting the pics M!

I had more time to post when I worked. We had a great day yesterday, family and friends came....he brother & wife stopped on their way back to NY from Columbia SC to pick up the "errant brother", the one we flew up here Friday. Our teams lost both football games but it was nice to get to see some friends. I was congratulated on moving over here and slowing down. Kerry and I took a walk to the water and spotted two Bald Eagles flying together. Yeah, it's nice here....quite so far too....I haven't brought any of the bikes over yet. LOL

Shoutout to a good Samaritan out there. When her brother was flying up, despite being told what size bag, he oversized and had no money. Someone in line stepped up...60 bucks worth to a total stranger!! Thank you!

The darling with my luck will be just like her mom before she had puppies. Mom is being as quiet as she can right now so she doesn't wake up the babies 😭 I don't blame her.😉😜

I think she is talking about the mama-dog, not her own!

I'm going to tell you all a secret since you heard the drama last year. Ya'll remember the flood in my basement last Feb? Remember the "erie-money"? LOL I added it up.....Kerry and I managed to give roughly half away. 5K in Dec alone, because it seemed to be the right thing to do. We had talked about it of course and she was onboard. When I got that money, I was twisted. I have my own, it didn't feel earned. God keeps telling me, I'm the coolest ever, and I believe him too! Most folks are too attached to money to be cool. We had fun with it, and gave it those who we thought, would make a difference for them, at least short term. Kerry and I stopped at Waffle House for breakfast a couple of Sunday's ago before we went grocery shopping. As we pulled in she said "I wonder if she will remember us". It went right over my head but I didn't say anything. The gushing young girl waiting on us reminded me! She had bought her son Christmas presents......we didn't know anything other than she was in school. Now that I'm not grinding out a paycheck, I'm glad we did that, really glad. The view is vastly different from here!

I made a tool & files run to my house today to get the mail and FILLED the expedition. Holy cow......all we have brought over so far has been to "low hanging fruit".....I cleaned the stuff off one garage wall.....3 Come-Alongs(1 broken cable), 4 extension cords, 3 sets of pipe cutters, up to 6" copper or 8" steel, ......5 spools of various sizes of wire.....4 Gear pullers of different sizes....and 4 new fan belts for my car and truck....really, why jeff?? There are still the undershrouds for my car & truck and the old grill for my car too.....

This is fun though....setting up shop....

Came over to my house today.....the Bay Plunge is going on, to benefit Special Olympics.

It was 28F this morning! "open in new tab" to see the folks & tents set up to revive them as they die in the water.

Just kidding....only 1 guy died a couple year ago. Old like me, more stupid than I.

I have to go to our MVA today as they have placed flags on my account. I am so bad when dealing with "stupid", I recruited my EX-wife to go with me, to keep me from going to jail because Kerry can't take off today.
Kerry and Peg laughed about it on the speaker-phone last night but I know me, I need someone there to ground me.
They placed an insurance flag on my little car for lack of insurance last MARCH!
I have the receipt from them from when I turned in the tags, a YEAR EARLIER!

See what I mean? Stupid.

They have a couple other examples on a couple of bikes....and I have the MVA letter saying each was resolved and closed.

Ah well, that's not till 4:30 today and I've got other stuff to mess with.

Enjoy the day guys!

It turns out, that when you leave your home @ 50F, you really don't want to hop into the shower 20 min after you arrive back and turn up the heat. I've been home 34 minutes and the temp rose from 50F to 65F.....looks like 15 more minutes and I'll be golden!

I'm having feelings of "dread"

Not sure if they are caused by my trip later to the MVA or that I'm picking up my exwife to go with me! LOL

Life sure does keep me fully engaged and entertained!

I'm not about to wait that long. 😜If I wanna do a shower after all that work
(which is doubtful)l . because I'm kinda lazy I'll just keep the heat up to comfy in the first place.🐢😊

My Dilly is getting so old it's scary. I decided to start looking up how old a cat can live. Come to find out Cream Puff lived 38 years. Dilly is around 15. Another brother's cat is around 20. Cat's can live a while. Nice 🤗
