Out making dinner last night and there were 3 deer in the corner of the yard, just watching me cook on the grill. Then, the gas tank ran out and flame dropped out.....I went to change the #20 tank while Kerry called at the same time so I put her on speaker. I got the tank changed as she commented about the noise....but the deer were still in the yard!

pretty cool

We had waterfront property again yesterday too due to high tides!

1 as in one single pup? OR 1 LITTER?

LOL
Only one pup and I get to choose plus the father's parents want one. They'll be 3 weeks and 2 days this Saturday so my brother shouldn't have a hard time before it's over finding homes for the 3 5 1/2 lbs full grown Yap traps that are left.. One of them is already loud even while sleeping. I won't be picking that one.😜

Ankle biters.....I once tried out for the Redskins......those are "puntable" right?.....LOL I'm just teasing. I'm very happy for you!

Taking today off...had to go BACK to the MVA yesterday with my son so he could finally get his tags. I got stuck in a bad backup and feared I'd be late to his appointment. We got there barely on time and he got his tag. I went to my house to pick up more "stuff" to take home. I brought home the "undersink stuff" and "medicine cabinet stuff" from the 3 bathrooms and the kitchen sink. We will box it up and use it like a store.
We won't have to buy anything for years!

Today I'll putter trying to figure out final landing zones for groups of things....like "the camping stuff" or the "water toy stuff" or the "electroplating stuff".....there's a lot of "stuff" to consider and so far, I've just been bringing over supplies and 1/2 the tools!

Tomorrow I'll go up to my daughters and watch as she changes out a toilet then I'm thinking of going to the Bike show in Timonium. I've got a friend who will be there vying for Best in Show....Kerry will be in NY doing a "wedding" party with the girls in the fam so I'll be free and clear.

Mark was right, EVERYDAY is a Saturday now.....I love it!

The 3rd one is still in the woods....this is where they were when I was grilling Mags! LOL

The one with his head down is working over the Salt Rock I put out for them.

This pic was taken yesterday and shows how close the deer were to the grill!

I intend to visit them every week until I pick one for our home. I'm pretty sure we'll pick each other by that day hopefully. It's hard to tell what they're like right now except for one.😜 she's loud even when she sleeps 😂😂😂 I want to do a female but there's a little boy that's interesting too. He's already developing 3 colors like his dad. I've always wanted a mini Pomeranian. But what I'll be getting is a Heinz 57 of mini lap yap yap yap ankle biter.😜 sounds like the creature I need.. I can't hardly wait.

Matilda(really a male) is suffering Spring Fever for a week now. For the past few days, he's all over his home so I've let him wander outside his enclosure.....I KNOW what he's looking for, I can feel it.....but he doesn't understand that it was 21F outside this morning. He would have, given an hour or so but I'm in my bathrobe and I wasn't babysitting that long outside! He made it to the far end before I scooped him up and came back inside.

Kerry was home yesterday and I showed her how he bee lines for the door. "He's looking for a girlfriend"

Yup!

Anyone else's getting "excited" already? Seem early but it's been a while since I had Clemson the sulc inside so he used to get excited a little later, like end of March of April as I remember.

Yeah Ray, you posted but too busy to chat? We all hope you're good buddy....

I have to go to the money man this morning to move and combine my assets, meager as they may be. I know this is simple math but when you really are talking about "everything you have", I don't want to make a rookie mistake when for a few bucks, it can be avoided. The Union requires a 19 page booklet filled out to get your own money! I split that with my ex so it's not a primary income, thank God! I cannot express in words how much distain I have for all this.....I absolutely hate it! "people act like animals with money involved"....is a very sad fact.

OK, on the Happy side, the Pastor who will marry us, and his wife came over for a couple of hours. I had never met him. He told us anecdotes of seeing couples so bad for one another, he would call one on one to council against it! We had a nice evening....but I was nervous so I talked a lot..(I know, never would have thought, right?) but it was nice. I told him flat out that Superman was marrying Wonder Woman.....then Kerry showed him the Halloween pic.

I went to bed after they left, Kerry came up an hour or so later...and told me that she texted the Pastor and asked him "do you need to call me?" LMAO

He responded; "No, I think you're good"

I love it....all of it....today is the anniversary of when we met 12 yrs ago, our card that I gave her on our 1st date- we pass back and forth each year, adding another stapled page, was waiting for me when I went to make coffee this morning.

I'm going to marry that girl in 24 days!
Awww!😍

I keep thinking about one of them. Its a little brown boy with some facial colors starting . But that's not the only reason. His little face keeps popping up in my mind. I think I fell in love immediately. I was gung ho to have a girl but I think I've already chosen. So I'm pretty sure it's him.

I have a question for M................

Musically speaking as an instructor, what do you think of the music contained in the rap song,
Air Force Ones? Listen on you tube;

I'm not rap fan, I AM a fan of any talented music.....and to me, it's one of the best assembled songs in any time. Not the words, ignore them....it's the time changes and beat changes that gain my interest.

Typically, an artist may try to add a timing change to add some "rowdy" or an edge to the song.....they did it 22 times! LOL

Curious as to your thoughts.

The motorcycle show was Mag's people...Harley folks mostly...but I was there to support my buddy. I was looking for him in the huge fair hall and I asked one of the vendors if he knew where the Vindian was...he says; "Bill's?" Everyone knew him there! His bike is the 2nd pic. It's actually a Yamaha 920....man he does sweet work!

Sorry about the pic, Bills wife was in her wheelchair right next to the bike....I didn't want to embarrass20240210_115039.jpg

Sorry Jeff,

I'm not really into rap. I prefer classical, some pop, some jazz and some world music. Carnival Of The Animals by Saint-Saens contains a movement called Tortoises!

I'm a rap fan and it's not my fault. My son was a bad influence on me.😉

But truely some of the melodies are really beautiful if for instance played on a violin. I ran across a hit song by Sia being played by a young French girl on the violin. She was playing for change on a city street in France. It's my favorite rendition of that song now it was so good.

I'm pushing my way through the smoke and small arms fire in the other thread....DD is a troublemaker apparently....(I'm teasing DD)....

I can't believe they made Usher do Low from what, 15+ years ago? He had abbs back then...well heck, so did I come to think if it<LOL>! @45 years, the man can dance.....respect!

Kerry put me on the floor laughing last night after she got home. We were selecting and playing our songs.

"I want something like this" by Chainsmokers while not "our song", ranks pretty high for us. Kerry said...but we did get fairytale bliss and superheroes. I told her..."amazing what you find with an open heart"

Our marriage is a fairytale....the "Perv & the Prude".

We got our menu selected....most it is food I don't generally eat but my additions are pretty obvious!

Wedding Brunch 12:30

Quiche Lorraine & Spinach Leek Quiche
Poached Salmon Platter
Salad of Mixed Greens, Goat Cheese, Roasted Vegetables, Candied Peanuts & Fig Balsamic
Roasted Baby Potatoes
Spiral Ham with Rolls and Grain Mustard
Cocktail Meatballs in a Red Italian Tomato Sauce

Open House 2:30-5:30

Vegetable Stuffed Crimini Mushrooms
Bruschetta & Burrata on Crostini
Mini Crab Balls served with Sriracha Mayo
Cheeseburger Sliders
Charcuterie Board with Artisan Cheeses, Cured Meats, Olives, Eggplant Tapenade, Nuts, & Crackers

Kind of neat......2 weeks, 5 days. Last night I confirmed Kerry as beneficiary.....1st time anyone other than a "kushner" held that spot....ever! I feel better b/c I know that she's covered now. We have a friend Mike who passed last year...6 WEEKS after he retired! 6 weeks!

Guess how long it's been since I left that mess? Yup, 6 weeks! Yikes, superman better be careful!

You see that an awful lot - retire then die. I'm one of the exceptions to the rule, and you will be too. I retired way back in the '80s or '90s, can't remember without looking it up.

Me too but my retirement date is only about 9 years back. Now I'm worried about my memory 😉😊
