This is a trailer hitch. It weighs 50lb so when it arrived yesterday, Kerry brought it inside because of my shoulder.

Later while looking at the box, I opened it and took out the hitch. I went into the kitchen then dining room back to kitchen and then back to living room to put back in the box after finding no safe place to set it down.

WHY Jeff?
You guys can see it....it has 6 holes, not a lot going on....AND my right shoulder is killing me!
What was I planning on doing once I had found a place to set it down???

I have never found an answer to those questions....
I still remember hearing over and over
"What were you thinking?"

Heck, I still don't know!

Enjoy the day...sorry it's hot by you Lyn

We began watching the Closing stuff too but bailed at the appearance of the Golden explorer. LOL

I got outvoted so I'm not leaving for NY & Maine tomorrow as planned. Kerry will take Dad home to NY and come back later this week. We will go to Maine another time. I'm not 60% and the 40minutes to the beach yesterday in the car wasn't fun.

As soon as we decided this at 6am over coffee...she says:

"Now I have to put the trailer hitch in my car to keep you from hurting yourself while I'm gone"

The hitch goes on her car. Yeees, that's it, let it sink in.... Nice isn't it? We nearly woke Dad laughing!

Well we got to get up now for the fishing trip. That means I got zero sleep. I will tell you all the wild story. With the problems we had with the hotel

Went fishing this morning with my son Jim and his stepbrother Tim. Tim is seated next to me.
There is a mix of king salmon, coho salmon and a lake trout. We had 18 fish on,but cohos are known for twisting and turning. So sometimes they are tough to keep hooked. We were on lake Michigan.

Did you take those pics with an iPhone Ray? I'm very jealous!

Poor Dad. He got here 10 days ago or so looking forward to seeing all the deer in the yard. 1 showed it's face 2 days ago, otherwise nothing. He just kept looking at the wrong time! He even sat out here religiously as the week went on, waiting to no avail.
They left an hour ago.....so I'll putter around.
The local cropduster is giving flying lessons again today. I can tell because he will take them up in a figure 8...then turn off the engine! Lol

Just watching the Olympics Closing Ceremony and I thought that the flame would be extinguished later and with more ceremony.

I thought it was a bit boring as closing ceremonies go - but happy to see some eco friendly changes.

Came home from the dentist's and found Lola stuck on his side. He had spilled his water dish and I think his wonky leg without claws must have slipped from under him when he was trying to maneuver his way out of the corner. Naughty torty that he is!
I don't think he'd been like it for long as his huge plate of food had been eaten and he usually paces himself.
It's the first time he's done that indoors so I'll have to do a safety check. Thankfully he's fine but I gave him a warm soak so he could recover.

Hope your all having a good start to the week.

I lingered on the orchestral number as I was channel surfing by and I thought, "OMG!!! That sounds AWFUL!". I hadn't the vaguest clue what piece they were playing. It sounded like each instrument was playing a different number, or maybe tuning up. It might have been the acoustics, but it sounded terrible!

Wow Ray. That’s quite a catch. All that SALMON. I’m guessing that little one is a lake trout?

My girl sure knows how to make a desert worthy of a Queen! Wow N!

My robot mower keeps hitting the swale pipe ..where it loses the battle:

It usually frags a blade and stops. The last time it hit it bent the motor shaft of one of the 2 mowing motors. Out of balance at 22000 rpm made is sound like it had a gasoline engine! Lol

130 bucks to replace it.
Hmmm, I pulled it apart and did my best to true the shaft. It's prob 15% as bad as it was....so I think I did pretty well with it. Snapped it back in and ran it ...nice! I still ordered a new motor.....back up.

I have rerouted the guide wire completely around that pipe...finally.

Enjoy the day

Pretty much a 10 out 10 day in Maryland. Mid-80’s and no humidity. We took a nice road trip over to Maryland’s Eastern Shore and explored Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.

I'm finally starting to get over my sacarilliac issue. It's been about 3 months. I finally found a salve at Walmart that's actually helping. It's the as seen on TV product called Hempvana. It's relieving the pain enough that I don't have to take pain pills of any kind. I don't like using them too much. Most of them have corn in them so If I have no pain I'll be dead from overdoing it again. 🥴😂
