Just received some good news. Next Tuesday I get my new power wheelchair. Darn things cost as much as a new small car.
32,000 dollars! Thank goodness for insurance.
The base price starts at about 10,000. When you add on the upgrades. That's when the price gets crazy.

I am really glad that you can get the upgrades you need, the cost doesn't matter when you spend your day in it....it needs to be as NICE as you can make it! Congrats

Kerry and I went to the park in our first day trip in her new car. We just laid the ebikes in the rear instead of folding them and putting them into the plastic bins. Didn't work, used too much space. Back to the bins. This is a learning process so it's ok.

Saw this guy at the parks Nature Center

One VERY dry box turtle! I was able to track down some contact info last night, maybe I'll reach out for a chat. They have a great place, they just don't know that they don't know, about this guy anyway.

Just got a call about my new wheelchair. It won't be delivered until Tuesday the 17th now.😖😖😖😖

Tomorrow Mr Fre has a vet appointment. It's for setting up his neuter appointment. I'm not looking forward to doing that to him but I have to. He has a hereditary birth defect. So it looks like my little Mr Fre has to be a little one of a kind.

Gives more time to be excited about it though....

Both were not options. LOL My chair would be horrible in sand. They do make a chair with tank like tracks. But not real practical for daily use.
The law here for a handicapped person to get on the beach. Is really not defined well. I asked the sheriff dept. They said any means necessary to get on the beach. That really leaves it wide open.

Why not? It'll fit his little Mr priss personality. He gets upset if he gets a little rain ☔ 🌧️ drop on him. You would think he's dying if he happens to get poo in his hair. I have to use a baby wipe before he'll stop running around in circles and yiking and other antics 🙃 like using the floor as toiley paper 😜
