Continuing on the theme, I first heard about Thanksgiving on the Simpsons!
Thanksgiving= A huge party that the pilgrims invited the Indians to in order to promote peace, celebrate the harvest and to get high together. They knew the Indians "carried".
Well, that's pretty much the story.....LOL
The parade is on TV in the background, turkey is stuffed and in the oven. Kerry made the sides yesterday. We are taking showers now then kids come over for an early dinner then we will head over to my ex's for desert this evening.
It has been one heck of a good year for us, a fairytale year to be sure. I truly wish I could share that feeling with others but I know many folks are struggling with the challenges personal to them. So yes, I'm very thankful for a laundry list of good fortunes.

I can't get sound but knowing the Simpsons it's bound to be funny.
Very nice. I have a much smaller Androgynoceras Microconch from the same location. For those who don't know, the macroconch is the female and is larger than the microconch which is the male.

Today is still a turkey dinner with sandwiches and oven fried diced potatoes. My son and his family including Willow enjoyed it thoroughly. Along with Mr Fre. I think he had more fun playing then eating. Lots of other leftovers too.. I'm doing turkey broth and think I'll make some turkey and rice soup next. We were supposed to get snow and rain but it blew away this morning. It was cold though. It's been nice. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
