Good afternoon/evening all. It's been very humid here today with some short bouts of heavy rain but no thunder yet.

We had some sad news about the Indian plane crash yesterday. My nephew who is in LV found out that a friend of his died along with his wife and 4 year old daughter. They were friends in school and had kept in touch ever since. His friend and his family had been to visit relatives and were coming home. A terrible tragedy and a miracle that one man survived. My thoughts are with all families.

Good morning Lyn,

Did you have a thunderstorm last night? We certainly did.

Natrah
I was woken by one particularly long rumble of thunder but that was all we had, unless I slept the through the rest of it. I see the warning is still in place at the moment. I love a good thunder storm.

On the mend yesterday Superman got in trouble from Wonder woman.
She didn't get it.
"Sick" really was new to me.
I HATED IT so I decided not to be sick anymore.
Kerry got really mad when i knocked out a few chores while she was out.
I cleaned the garage floor
Powerwashed 3 outdoor rugs
Started one very badazz motorcycle

By the time Kerry remembered whom she married, she got onboard and opened the new area rugs/padding we got last week but hadn't unrolled yet. Living room and 1st bdrm look great! I love 100% wool rugs.....with 1/2" of good padding it will feel scrumptious

Just saw Rocky going home but I didn't see her 2 kids. Maybe they've moved out already from their new home. Night cam caught both of them playing in the yard a week or so ago but I haven't seen them during the day. Mom deer with the new fawn became a Daycare provider when she was corraling TWO fawns this morning. I guess she turned into the Den mother! Cool.

My son is visiting today....last time he was here it cost him a 5 series BMW when it was totalled on his way home. He wasn't hurt but still.

Enjoy the day guys.....and thanks Ray for keeping my head in the game over the past few days....i was getting pretty worried....the texts were motivating.

Dear Lyn,

Another beautiful day today and I am pleased to say that after a good concert by the Southend Chamber Music Club I saw a bat whilst I was waiting for the bus. I hope to see the ones behind the flat at some point.

Goodnight

Wonderful day....the dodgy storms we were possibly getting missed us all day! My son even got 20 ft from one of the deer before he left. Neato!

Another stellar day but im learning something. Some of you already know this I think but I've learned that 50mg of Prednisone daily in one tablet...after 3 days is like a lube job on every joint in your body as well as allowing every muscle to attain full range of motion as if I were the Tin Man after the oil can! Life will go back to normal when they run out in a couple days. Kinda glad....this is cool but it's not real and of course there's a risk to injuring myself cause i do stupid things according to my fantastic Kerry.

I even tried to jump up since i used to be able to kick an 8ft ceiling....well I wasn't kicking any of our ceilings but it was a very ugly set of vertical leaps to the top of the bird feeder..like "old man" ugly. Glad I was in the backyard but still , you know the deer are laughing. Maybe that's why I can so close? I'm no threat....put like that makes it sound bad.

Glad you had a good show N. We will be saying a prayer for MS cathie for Monday... but do not sweat the Rule....mine are more like "Hey bud, got a job for you, look out for my buddy, thanks." LOL

This coming Monday I finally get one cataract removed. It's about 2 months later than it was supposed to be. I got sidetracked. I'm glad it's finally happening and I know it's a simple procedure buttt... I'm still a little nervous. By the time I get there and finished I'll be high as a kite from a couple of valiums so... They'll have to carry me out and home like a sack of potatoes 🙃 sorry I'm getting so carried away .💤💤💤👁️👀then I gotta do critters and none of mine behave themselves.😭
Good luck for tomorrow Cathie, I hope it all goes without a hitch and that you make a speedy and successful recovery. ❤️

Good evening everyone!

I will be going on my music holiday to Oxford at the end of July and Jacky will be staying with my friend. The last time Jacky and Daisy stayed with my friend and her husband Daisy led Jacky straight to the vegetable patch and they spent the whole of their stay either eating the vegetables or flattening them 🤣🤣🤣🤣!

Dear Cathie - I shall be thinking of you a lot tomorrow, and hoping all goes well. It will be my turn soon, I hope, and it will be so very reassuring to know someone who has been through it all.
Love and best wishes from Angie xxxxxxxxxx

You and Lynn's thoughts and I'm sure prayers must be already helping me. I'm extremely calm. I haven't been under a knife since the 80's. That time scared me so much that I didn't allow a doctor to do anything that invasive since until now. They had an accident on me 😭 that should be waying on my mind but it's not.😊. They said I may have blurry eyesight tomorrow but that's nothing new to me so I'll try to get on here and tell about my journey. 😘

Thanks. I need all the hopeful thoughts I can get. The recovery is what I'm concentrating on the most. I have to do two different eye drops 4 times a day for a week then 1 twice a day for 3 more weeks. Then with Joe's 4 different eye drops 3 times a day at the same time I'm going to be half nuts with eye drops and I'm old and forgetful at times. 🤞 So that'll be an issue. Plus I'm not supposed to bend over with my head down. I have animals how am I supposed to not do that. They're shorter than me. They have food and water bowls at their height. But it was that same doctors orders after I broke bones in my face and guess what. I got through it just fine and I had to bend over. So after tomorrow I should be able to be on my way to better sight. I'm grateful for that.

Well MS Cathie...
Now that im coming back strong, you get a free role model for recovery!
You got this....and best of luck!

PS my youngest visited today. Her cat ran away 4 days ago and she was devastated. Darn if he didn't come home the night before she came over .We went for a bike ride and we went down the "cat street"...15 cats in 4 houses! She wanted to take them home!

Then she found a fawn in our yard! So cool for her!
