Was supposed to have a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. The hospital said they would call this evening and tell me what time. Started drinking the stuff to clean me out and eating no solids today. Didn't here from the hospital. So I called the nurse director. He said I wasn't on the list for tomorrow. I told him, I guess I will order pizza delivery then. He said enjoy!😆😆😆
I had my first one today, note that I am really young to be getting one. Well, nothing was found and the doctor said that I don't have to come back in a few decades! Glad that it is over, but interested to see what my doctor wants to do next.

It was also my first time to get sedatives before a procedure, as it is normal here to remove wisdom teeth etc. without any (I have had two removed on separate occasionswith the power of numbing and some paracetamol).

The stuff that I had to drink before hand was awful though.

Very happy that nothing was found!!!
And it's really good idea to start check it earlier.
Unfortunately, colon cancer started to attack young people. I have 4 clients with the stage 4 and their age ranges from 25yo to 28yo.

Mine was more for diagnostic purposes, but of course they always check for colon cancer. Here in Finland people get 60 to 70 are invited to get scanned periodically, but some recommend starting at 55. But if you have any symptoms etc. the case is diffrent of course.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed I had a general anaesthic so was completely out of it. I felt as if I had done a few rounds in a boxing ring for days after and was told it was due to the force needed to pull them out. I also looked like a hamster with swollen cheeks 🐹

I remember my sisters coming to visit me that night with a bag of toffees and a gobstopper - just for a laugh!!😄
I think they just use local anaesthic now.

Wow that's very young. My mum died of bowel cancer, and her sister. After about 50 we receive kits to take and send off samples and only get called for further investigations if they find anything in that.

I'd better go to bed.
My car is finally going to the garage tomorrow (today) to sort out the problem with number 1 cylinder, which I hope is something simple and cheap. I have to take it in as early as possible so time to say nos da.
Take care.

Between mammogram and colonoscopy....you guys are getting the easy end of it.
So to speak....

I'm 67 4T..and just had one as well as an endoscopy of the stomach for good measure....still fresh as new fallen snow!

I also don't fill up on crapfood.

Ray, isn't that stunt the pure definition of D-Assery? What, we're you bored? 😆

Hey, any of ever hear of Grounding?? As in going barefoot, touching the Earth stuff.
I've heard of it. It's all about connecting with nature and feeling the grass under your feet, which is something I like to do when I sit out on Lola's patch - have to check for hedgehog poop first though.

Have never heard of Pizza Express. But very fitting for the situation. 🤣
I got Domino's pizza.
It was probably the Dominos rather than the clearing out prior. I'm pretty sure it barely qualifies as "food fit for human consumption". I had a rescue dog that must have been with college kids before she came to live with me. She loved pizza. During that same time my son was helping his buddy in the family's Pizzaria that made excellent real hand-made pizza. The dog waited by the door anytime she heard his car so she'd be first in line for the good pizza. In the daytime he cleaned for a tourist short term rental. There was a day when he brought home a Dominos left at the rental. As per their routine he opened the box as soon as he got home and gave the dog a slice. She looked at him like he was traitor, took two steps back, deposited it on the floor, and walked away.

And just found this on YouTube yesterday ~
