It's about time....4-6 wks for those shingles to be going away isn't it?

The only sockets are Spark plug removal tools and yes, there are 3 types based on the logo which depicts age so each is counted. I mainly carry 4 vintage age groups of Kawasaki tools. Really really really old, really reall.....
you get it. ...old junk to most. I got myself into a bind. The stuff is too valuable to throw away....a 1975 H2c gas tank sells for up to 2grand. There are 3 on Ebay right now for 1400, 1700, and 1800 and they are all junky. I have 3 of them, one is mint condition. That's why I didn't throw them away when I moved.

Our elect is .17 cents per KWH....maybe yours makes motors go faster or lights burn brighter? Must be something for 3 times the cost? In all seriousness, I do feel bad for you guys. It's all money taken from other businesses trying to make it.....just so 50 people can claim to be better people than they are.......just how I see it, not trying to offend anyone who thinks it's great.

Hi, Jeff,
Sorry, friends for the long post...
Yes I know, but sadly I'm a worrier. I haven't been sleeping well since seeing the test results that I don't know what they mean. I just know all the graphs are going down, not staying steady or going up. Every time I have to take a extra breath makes me think again about this lung condition. I asked my Dr if there was something I could take to help my O2 level, but she said no. I don't know if my condition is not bad enough yet, But I had a dear friend that COPD and had a oxygen concentrater she was hooked up to constantly, and honestly . . . that just scares the bejesus out of me.
I'm wondering about lung transplant, what does it take to get one of those, I don't want my body so ravaged that I would not be able to do that. You mentioned "fun" there's not much "Fun" goin on here. I'm a somewhat stoic person. Never leaned how to relax & just Chill, I always need to be doing something....
I'm just scared, scared!
In the past, I've always said I'm planing on hitting 95. Both my parents only made it to their mid 70's, I'm 68 now, and I'm not sure Ill make it to my mid 70. My dear Penny, just passed away, just before thanksgiving last year. She was diagnosed with Uterine cancer In July of 2023, went through surgery and a year of chemo. She had caught a virus back in 2017 that attacked her heart, so she had a implanted defibrillator/pacemaker. Towards the end I had pulled her oncologist and cardiologist aside and asked how long she had, and neither could give a good answer, but her oncologist said it wasn't going to be the cancer that got her it would be her heart, and that IS what took my dear Penny Ann, she was just 67. I'm still dealing with Penny's stuff, still have to deal with DMV re: her car, and need to contact the banks to close her accounts. Unfortunately I'm not on any of them, and fortunately she was was not rich, so I'm hoping probate will not be an issue. I need to get paperwork and send it back to her mom On the other side of the country to sign papers for me to submit back here in Cali.
Then I have all my kids, dogs, Parrots, Tortles, Ducks, geese & chickens. I had to say goodby to 2 of my fur babies last year, and One of my dogs has a cardiologist Appt. this coming Friday, No new kids, just saying goodbye, one at a time...
Dismal....
Sorry again for the long post, my friends....🥺😢
I am on a concentrater 24/7. I can go without for maybe a few hours. Then my chest gets tight and my oxygen saturation drops. But with my portable concentrater ,I manage just fine.

Good morning all.
We have been told to expect a change in our weather next week because the remnants of storm Erin are heading our way. If it means some good rainfall, then we'll be pleased to see it.
The funeral passed without any major incidents and there was a wake after all, so we got to see all of my brother's 'in laws' who we haven't seen for many years. They all loved him so it was nice to sit and reminisce. None of them could resist having a dig at my sister in law. It's obvious she's the cause of most of the feuding in their family. I just hope that after we left it didn't deteriorate into a bar brawl.😄
I'm having a quiet day today to catch up on some chores.
Hope you all have a good Thursday too.

Dear Marsha,

I hope you're okay. Remember your doctors are looking after you. Good luck to your little dog and remember to be there for your little children.

Good morning everyone!

Ray they are sunflowers. Wow! PeeWee you are huge 😍! What type of Sulcatas are Opo and Ms Sully Ray?

Natrah
There are about 8 countries that have wild sulcata's. It seems the sulcata's from Sudan are a bigger breed. Opo and Ms.Sully carapace in the front. Has a different slope than the back. Seems like Sudanese sulcata's have a more uniform carapace. I will get a picture of their carapace.

How many tortoises do you have? 7?🙆‍♀️
Well the first one I got, was from a co-worker who saw it croccing the road in Richmond CA., I ws told it ws Gulf Coast Box turtle, Bump, then I got Gigantor he was a Hermans, he's the reason I landed here at TFO, he had stiopped eating and had taken him

Ya, My dear penny came from Jersey (on-line dating) back in 2007, we were dong good for 12 yrs, adopted 12 parrots over that time. Then she slowly stopped helping out around the house/farm, So I asked her to leave (Not really wanting that) but she did, she moved in with a parrot friend 45 miles way, well Laurie her new roommate had late stage COPD and had a concentrator and O2 bottles, That poor lady was tethered to that equipment, and I fear that or me, when? later, soon, I have no idea. I get to sit down for an hour or so in the morning (usually when I'm talking to all my friends here) but the rest of the day, I'm moving taking care of fur/feather& Tortles. i shutter not being able to do that in the future...
While Penny was gong we talked weekly ( still love her) and I helped her with repairs where she lived. then in July 2023 she had back pains, went to emergency and was diagnosed w/uterine cancer while she was in the hospital Laurie her room mate, fell and broke her hip was the beginning of the end for her. Penny could not stay there, so I had her move back in with me and I took up her care/Dr. appt, treatments until her passing Nov. 13 2024. Having all these kids was not a big issue with the two of us, now it's just me, and it tears me up to think I will eventually have to say good by to my feather/fur/tortle kids, because it will be too much for me... 😢

I've learned over the years that you aren't alone Mags. a lot of small girls love to ride big hard things. LOL you know, like motorcycles..............just teasing guys. Those are huge turtles....Kerry has warned both me AND Ray that I'm not to magically show up with a baby Ms Sully under any circumstances!

I might have seen your oxy tank Ray but I don't really look around someone else's home too much so I don't remember seeing it...but I never saw you use it...especially at your buddy Thumpers house...LOL I do appreciate it though that you didn't and I'm sure that you know that, just because it's a reminder to me of my own mortality that I don't like.....just when I see my own tank in the bedroom closet!

MG, don't stress that falling charts, they dip once in a while, the Dr's call it a "plateau". None of us likes seeing our degradation but we all know it's coming. Don't fear, you live a good life, you've loved and you do love the animals and people around you. Doesn't sound like you hold hate towards anyone so what's to fear? There can be sadness at missing your friends, both human and not...but no fears. It sounds to me from the collective of your comments these past years that you've lived life, not watched it.....be happy and be proud! It's a pretty cool ride isn't it?

I'm working on it now. I'm back on the anti virals to maybe help my hearing loss though. Week 5. Shingles is no joke. Mine started out as the inner type so I wasn't put on the anti virals for 2 weeks. It took the doctors a couple of weeks to figure it out. I don't blame them. I always get these weird diseases. And if I try to tell them they look at me strangely because I sound like a coo coo. Now that they are all hooked up together online they might get it. They're really going all out and trying to get me the right help now though. I got into my ent specialist immediately and he said I might be able to recover some of the damage done to the nerve in my ear. I'm not really even worried about that. I want to get a cute hair cut and I can't until all the rash is healed on the back of my head and elsewhere. I was so aggravated with my long hair during this I wacked it off one night just for relief from the weight. It goes on and on 🐢💩💩💩

It's still in use quite a lot in the UK. Anytime something is unlikely or silly in a funny way people often say it's farcical.
Maybe we should make it one of those new slang words in the US. 😊I have grandkids to slide that one past. They might like it 😜 I've seen them start from the kids.😊

Good afternoon/evening all.
One of my hedgehogs has made a nest in my garden under some dead crocosmia leaves which have arched over making an ideal little tunnel for him.
I suspected he had moved in, but that was confirmed this morning when I heard him rustling around, scratching and coughing under them. I'm not sure how waterproof it will be when the rain comes so I'll have to secure a brolly over it to keep him dry. It must be quite cosy in there. 🦔
