Absolutely not! I could never slave over a hot stove in this weather - or any weather actually. It's all I can do to use the microwave 😄
I hope you've got exceptional a/c 🤞
A/C= glass of water with A LOT of ice cubes.🧊
Sorry to say .. there is no escaping the heat of a 450 degree grill , a 350 degree oven and the steam table is just obnoxious! 🥵

Dear Sapphire,

We eventually got to my appointment to see the person that likes to poke tortoises. We had to get a train and bus there but anyway I am good health but the person that likes to poke tortoises asked why I had a split claw to which Natrah explained that I may have done it whilst climbing over the drain and covering my face in a cobweb. She took me into the other room for a manicure and I thanked her by squirting at her. This maybe the reason why Natrah thought I was taking a long time with my manicure.

Someone shows their restaurant experience. Only someone in it would know...am I right BD?
That's any good cook in the kitchen.😉it all doesn't get ready and clean up the kitchen by itself. Someone has to prepare it. I'm the chief cook and bottle washer around here 😊

I now sympathize with the lobsters 🦞 when they are put in the pot…

late spring plantain yield after some wierd weather on the east coast- Dry winter into spring then some rain with slight warm ups then a week of 90's then torrential downpours. Maybe that is the formula to create these monster weeds. Tors are enjoying! DISCLAIMER banana (smoothie stage) for scale only not feeding!

We get some monster weeds too, but not this early into the year.

You should weigh 347kg! We know however that you are a hottie from your posted pics. So I'm curious as to how you burn off all those calories....HMMM?? LOL

Maybe you a lot more demanding of an instructor than I ever had?

All in fun N.
.
The deserts always look spectacular!

We have a British boxer called Tyson Fury and he rescues live lobsters from tanks in restaurants by buying them and releasing them back into the sea to give them a second chance. ❤️

Good afternoon/morning all.
Here we are on the last day of meteorological spring and the eve of meteorological summer! ⛱️
Our heatwave has ended - thank goodness. It's much cooler now and we have some much needed rain on the way for most of next week, it's going to be quite windy too which isn't a good thing now the trees are in full leaf but hopefully it won't be too bad. I just hope we can get through the next few months without any extreme weather - but that may be a big ask these days.

It's been very noisy around here lately with the nasty neighbours equally nasty grandsons around during the school holiday There are 3 of them under 8 years but they all cuss and swear like adults - can't really blame them it's what they've grown up with so it's normal language to them. ☹️. They'll be back in school tomorrow though so I look forward to some peace and quiet.

My hedgehog seems to have set up home in my garden I can't see his nest but I hear him just before dark having a good scratch and groom before coming out to find his food. I wish I could work out how to post a video of him but the camera format doesn't seem compatible. I'll try to take some screenshots instead.
Hope you're all well. TTFN.

I was just going to put my hogilo hedgehog house back in the garden in case my visitor wanted to upgrade his accommodation but look what I found under the base

It's a false widow guarding her egg sac. The spider's body is about an inch long and the legs are about another inch long, so I can't move the house yet in case I damage the sac. I'll find out how to do it safely and then put it somewhere safe.
