I got a trio of Concentic diamondback terrapin hatchlings. They seem to bask in the heat all day long they never go in the water when i put them in water they get right out and go to land. I have to feed them in a seperate all water container. Is this normal also what water temp should they have i was told they dont need water heater. I have Basking temp of 86-88 air temp of 75-80 and water temp of 72-76. Ive only had them for about a week it took them 3 days before theyd eat for me and they still dont eat alot. Is there anything i should do specific or do they need time to adjust to new home they are 16 weeks.

Thanks in advance for any info

I don't keep DBT myself but I've researched them. I'm pretty sure you need to increase some of your temps. Basking should be high 80s to low 90s, air temp should be low to mid 80s.

I expect some experienced keepers will chime in soon.
