Concerning shell developement?

Hi, what can cause this type of shell developement?

The tortoise has 500m2 area full with weeds, gets twice a week mazuri, and has always calcium source in form cuttlebone.

I think he's referring to the indentation on the scute peaks.

The peaks are a little bit unusual, but overall his growth looks pretty damn good! I wouldn’t be worried personally

Wow, thank you all, to be exact, for me the difference between the top and the bottom of this scute is odd.
Top is smooth, bottom is curving invards, and wrinkly.

I can see what you mean, but that looks completely normal to me, the part where the keratin is smoother is going down his side correct? Most tortoises shells grow with a similar appearance
