I found a snake (forgot to tak a picture) it looked just like this but thicker. And I know delays brown snakes are not aggressive at all but this guy was trying to bite me and was very aggressive. He didn’t have a yellow tail like a copperhead tho. Anyone know or have experience with these snakes? I think they both look awesome.

Definitely a DeKay's Snake.

For comparison, here is a Copperhead which I caught in my yard in GA. Note the banded pattern as well as the large triangular head, neither of which DeKay's Snakes (like the one in your photo) would have:

???? If you see both species frequently as you say, I don't understand how you could mistake a DeKay's Snake for a Copperhead.

I only run into adult copperheads. Never baby copperheads and I use to think dekays were baby copperheads. But come to think about it I’ve never seen a baby copperhead.

But still the patterns and the head sizes and shapes are totally different. The babies of both species look just like the adults.
