One of the nicest looking animals I've seen in real life. Fantastic species, highly recommend working with this cuora species.

You're lucky to live in Florida where they can live outside year round. I wanted to try my hand at keeping mouhotii, but it's too cold here in winter and they'f have to be brought indoors. I live in a pretty small house and there's just no room for indoor habitats.

I actually moved to AZ, Tucson to be exact. They can do well indoors, but space definitely needs to be a consideration. Females can get 8-10". They are similar to my Pyxis in that they are not terribly active, which helps.

Here is a picture of a adult female Bourreti to get an idea of size (not my animal, I wish)
