Anyone interested in 2 adult diamondbacks? They are CB and have been with me for about 5 years. Pond and water land tubs (by season)
There is nothing wrong with them, I just prefer not to deal with water!!

Would trade for a land species or supplies...not looking for much...just a good home!

They are both between 7 and 8 inches

As you can see...the lighter one is fatter...
The darker is skinnier.....that should help with the tail pictures. What gender do you all think?

I was wondering about their gender.

They really are great, and I love having them outside in the pond during warm months but I HATE having them in the waterland tub inside for the winter!!

ANYONE INTERESTED??? :/

I agree it looks like two females. Why do folks have things like these for sale, when my brain is doing so good at reminding me, I am not allowed to spend more money on tortoises until after Jeff has his surgery and goes back to work? :( (my weaker side reminds me how good they would look in the new pond, for which I have always visualized diamonds in. )

:D I do love watching water turtles bask and diamonds are I think my favorite. Believe me, my naughty side does not need any more help. :D I can see going up to the top of the hill tonight and givng a call something like this... "Hi sweetie! How is the greatest husband alive doing tonight? Ummm can you meet up with some folks to bring me home this package..."

What big back feet they have!

If I had a pond I'd get them. They're the University of Maryland mascot and would do well around here. Well, since they come from around here...

Just wondering, what type of water do you keep them in? I know they're a brackish water turtle and wonder if they can live in fresh water also.

They can survive in fresh water if intorduced to it properly.
These two have been kept in fresh water since they were hatchlings
and as you can see they have done quite well. I did a lot of research
before deciding to keep them in frexh water and I found (as you would expect) lots
of information supporting both fresh and brackish water husbandry. Personally (and
after learning that it would not be harmful to them) I decided to keep them in fresh water.

I imagine if you keep them outside fresh water would be the best way to go. Rain and the elements would dilute brackish water and you'd have to keep adding salt.
