Two words: Tortoise envy.

They are gorgeous AND they don't look all dried out and pyramided. I LOVE what you are doing there and send buyers your way all the time. Just talked to a friend about you a few days ago. When the time comes and I'm ready to jump into this species, I'll be calling you.

Thank you for your kind words, Tom. I have to admit that when I first started with Egyptians 15 years ago I failed miserably with the acquisition of hatchlings. Much trial and error before I came to the realization o the importance of humidity/hydration which accounted for early demise due to soft shell syndrome. Through this forum I was fortunate to come across your threads on the importance of this very issue which further solidified the reasons for my earlier failures. Everyone that purchases from me gets a "lecture" on this topic. I look forward to hearing from you when you are ready!
