I've already sent a message to this ad about the legalities of selling a desert tortoise, but the ad is still up. I thought some gentle reminders from other members might do the trick (or flagging!)

I also sent them a notice about it being totally illegal to sale these guys....also forwarded the link to my friend in Fish and Game....maybe his wording will be a bit clearer....

Have you seen pictures? I notice in the keywords that it says sulcata and not desert tortoise. Just curious.

I noticed that too Captain, but took what they were saying as the descriptive....if they are selling a Sulcata then they will be aok, huh

You may be right ... it also says greek and redfoot - but it says desert tortoise?

well sulcatas are often referred to as desert tortoises, that is why I ask.
