.........Yep, its great growing these guy's up. They are a very "delayed gradifacation" animal, but if you stick with it you realize you have a tortoise like no other on earth and if your doing it right it will love it life captivity. They will follow you around, get in the way if your trying to build something, and spot you looking at you looking at them through a window! They like to play jokes on you like doing the back stroke in the water, or laying on the ground with their feet in the air. The one that gets me the most now even after all these decades is when you are walking up and their head is on the ground turned on one side of a fully exstended neck. Then you have a panic atack and it frightens both of you. Vic
