So it's 7:37pm and when I went outside to get Mrs.Turtle(she's been out since 10) I found her buried under some leaves sleeping. So I picked up a few more leaves and set em on top of her just to be safe. This will be her very first night outside after 15 years and I'm kinda scared. What do you guys think?

Where are you located and what's the temps going to be and what species? If it's a hibernating species and you get cold where you are, they need to be prepared for hibernation.

She will be fine, she has probably had a great day of roaming the new area and getting some really good exercise and will sleep great tonight.

He's got a 3 toed box turtle and he lives in Texas, weather is still warm. I'm sure they had mid to upper 80's today like we had

Thanks, sure hope so, temps. It was a beautiful warm day here in Chicago today too.
We get one more warm day it looks like then the cooler stuff is moving in. Shows lows in the 30's next week here.

Ok so it's starting to rain... should I go get her? or leave her be
That's up to you, mine are out during the rain all the time and it doesn't harm them. It's whatever you feel more comfortable with.

Ok I was just asking because I don't know if she'll get sick from it

I don't think she will, what's the low temp tonight. She has been indoors for 15 years so I'm not sure if I would leave her out. Maybe just take baby steps and bring her in at night. Just give her outside time during the warm days

Mine are out wondering around during those temps. That weather looks great but she will start slowing down with those night temps cooling off. She will dig in a little or get under the leaves. I personally don't see anything wrong with her staying out. Others may chime in with their thoughts.

Did you leave her out all night?
Yep. She loved it. When she woke up at 9 in the morning she was walking everywhere and trying to find a good spot to sunbathe/sleep. she still doesn't want to eat outside though. She's currently inside for the night since there's going to be a very bad thunderstorm all night and all day

Great! Once you get her a good hide she can stay out all night even with Storms. They are heading this way too but I went ahead and moved these 2 little ones out for winter.
