flying a trotoise

Hi I am flying my 35-40 pound African spurred thigh African sulcata tortoise from Wyoming to Bakersfield California can anybody give me some advice I have been checking into –and the requirements there I am just wondering if anybody else has gone through this before. Thank you! Jen

No experience, just wanted to say your tortoise looks great.
Be careful the terrier doesn't nip at him though.

Delta dash, or Southwest Airlines is pretty easy. Just box the tortoise up with insulation and tightly pack him in. Then take to the freight desk of delta/southwest and say your on flight so and so and this needs to go on same flight.
