So last year, my midland panted turtle slowed down his eating at, like, October? But he was still active and ready to go! This year it's a wee later, but EVERYONE is doing it. And now they seem far lazier, too. Right now, all my turtles are sleeping, and haven't eaten breakfast yet! Which just doesn't happen! I'm thinking that because it's so widespread, their biological clocks just ticked off, and they're thinking it's time to sleeeeep. But last year, mr midland didn't slow down, he just ate less?
Why the sudden difference?
Thanks :)
