You could consider surrounding the water dish with small stones or pieces of slate or even cypress mulch, might keep the water a bit cleaner :rolleyes:.
Maybe put in a piece of driftwood or log (bug free, of course) crossways for interest. He likes to climb.
It is really great that George is eating, and basking already. You will now have a chance to observe him, and may end up rearranging hides, etc., based on where HE chooses to sleep, etc.

Thank you Lynne, that's a good idea! He hasn't actually drunk anything yet, but he used to walk through his water, and I was forever changing it, so think I will put some stones around it soon. The wood is a good idea too, thank you for your ideas! :)
