Growth or Trouble?

So, Juba is now pushing 3mos eating like a champ and very diggy in his enclosure lol. I have notice these little nodes at the corners of his scutes and that his middle section down below is kind of concave in some areas. Is this normal?

This tortoise was not started correctly as a hatchling, and now it is pyramiding horribly. This comes from using the wrong bulbs and wrong housing.

Unfortunately, most of the people keeping and breeding sulcatas have the wrong idea about how to care for them, and most info sources like vets, websites, YT, FB, etc... Repeat all the same old wrong info. Review these two threads for the correct housing and feeding info, and make changes ASAP before any further damage is done:
