Hello, I have some Greek turtle eggs that I want to incubate. I don't know how to do it, and I don't own a reptile incubator. In my country, we don't even have reptile supplies. I live in Morocco, but I do own a chicken incubator. But there are chicken eggs inside. As you know, these are wonderful moments for us reptile lovers. Can someone help me incubate them?

Here is the info you need:

Chicken egg incubators work great as long as they don't move the eggs. We have two brands that are common here: Hovabator and Little Giant.

There are many ways to make an incubator if you can't find one in your country. I once put two bricks and an aquarium heater in the bottom of an ice chest with about 6 inches of water. The eggs were in a plastic shoe box type container sitting on top of the bricks. I set the heater to the temperature I wanted and we hatched about two dozen black throat monitor lizard eggs that way.

Thanks for all this information❤.
Since I was stressed yesterday I ran my IQ , but I don't know if it was a smart or stupid idea 😄 🤣 😂
I took a plastic box, filled it with sand and soil, and placed the eggs without burying them. I heard that if the egg is turned over, the embryo will die. I took the eggs out immediately after they were laid, then put holes in the lid and placed the incubator on top of the chick incubator.
Then I put a thermostat inside the box and found that the temperature was 29 and it might rise to 30. I also put a bowl of water and a sponge for humidity. I didn't put them in at this moment because the sand was a little wet with water and I started to notice something that looked like sweat on the lid of the box.
I will attach pictures so that it is easier to understand what I am doing.
I hope that what I am doing 🙂is not wrong. I also want to buy this incubator. I don't know if it is good. I will include a picture of it as well. I also want to note that my tortoise are local tortoise that live in my city and Vermiculite isn't available in stores here, so I'll order it online. If there are any mistakes, please correct them because I don't want to lose any eggs.

Is the blue thing some sort of heat mat? Is the shoe box with the eggs contained inside of something? You have way too many vent holes on your plastic shoe box.

The eggs need to be inside some sort of chamber that is closed in, and the temperature and humidity needs to be maintained inside this chamber.

Though I do find it beautiful, I never learned to read Arabic writing Roney. When I was in Morocco, my driver made this decorative page for me that was my name. I can't find it right now, but it was pretty amazing.

Sorry I don't speak English good I use translate apps and I mistake when I'm writing with Arabic words
The blue thing is a chicken incubator, but the
thermostat indicates the temperature of the box. Should I replace the box? Because the eggs started incubating last night.

My brooder is a closed container with a door. Yours looks like a hot plate that the eggs sit on top of? The eggs inside their shoe box need to be contained inside some sort of chamber for incubation.
