Hello Tortoise Forum(ers)!
I'm in the Denver area. I'm interested in learning more about Tortoises in preparation for keeping one with my 5 and 3 year old sons.
This looks like the place with all the information from people with a lot of passion for their pets!

I hope you realize that YOU are going to be the primary care giver of the tortoise. While your sons may really enjoy having a tortoise, and will probably get quite a bit out of watching it, you will be the one (even if it is on the kid's to do list) who takes care of it.
