help identify

i dont know what type of turtles these are...but my husbands cousin posted this pic and i can't tell him what kind...the shells look too flat to be box turtles (i think) but they could be water species...please help if you have any ideas

They are part of the Asian Pond Turtle family. I think they may be an Asian box turtle or maybe one of the neotropical wood turtles. I can't think of the family or genera names I'm having a moment. Any way you may want to check with some one more familiar with that family.

They may be flavs ... Chinese Box Turtles ... but I'm not sure. They are definitely not North American box turtles.

They are part of the family Geoemydidae and one of the genera if they are Asian box turtles: Cuora,or Cistoclemmys. I think they may be yellow striped box turtles but I could be wrong.

I think it's a "Cuora", but i have a doubt on the subspecie.
