I recently bought a Tortoise, below is the picture. Please help me identify the breed and with general care of the baby.

Welcome to the Forum!

How on earth did you manage to buy a tortoise without knowing what species it is? Most pet stores price them by species. And the star tortoises (like what you have) are usually pretty pricey.

You can look up care for leopard tortoises, as the care is similar for stars and leopards.

I'm from India, Tortoises are not available at pet stores. I went to my local fish shop to get stuff for my aquarium, and I saw it there.

They had kept it in terrible conditions in a small box, so brought it home. I think I'll care for it in a much better way than they would. :)

@ robby77 its a good thing you saved him from the pet store.... pet stores in India are horrible hell for any kind of animal.... all they care for is money..........
