This is my baby redfoot who i’ve had for just over a year now. I think this may be a sign of pyramiding since his scutes are slightly raised and not flat. I dont know what to do because he is such a fussy eater. The foods I can get him to eat are strawberries, tomatoes and mushrooms, which he only has about once a week, and spinach rarely, as well as curly kale, radicchio and a pinkie every week. He also has a spider plant and wandering jew in his enclosure which he likes to nibble on. I sprinkle calcium over his meals every now and again and I feed him every other day to encourage him to eat. What am I doing wrong!? I only want the best for him

He's got some minor Pyramiding but it's not from diet. It's from being raised without enough humidity for the first year. Not much you can do about it now. If you increase the humidity to 80%+ the new growth should smooth out but the Pyramiding that you see now will always be there. Also, feed your tortoise everyday. There's no good reason to skip days. To get a fussy eater to eat other things try getting some Mazuri and soaking it in water to make a mash. Then you can finely chopped other things and mix it all together. It makes it so your Tortoise can't pick thru it and most of them love the Mazuri so they don't anyway. Something like thisIMG_20200725_183610596.jpgIMG_20200725_184330516.jpg

You’re incredible!! Thank you so much, I‘ll make sure to get the humidity up as best as i can. He loves mazuri so I’ll be sure to mix it all up for him

Maybe that's too much protein which could be the cause? I don't know I am not an expert and I am curious if that could be an issue.
No
Eating nothing BUT protein wouldn't cause Pyramiding.
It has only one cause.
Lack of humidity
