What is mazuri?? A type of green?

It is a nugget (think dog or cat dry food) type food you can feed your tortoise that is high in fiber. I feed 5-6 pellets soaked in water, they swell up and get mushy, 2-3 times a week. I also chop up greens, like kale, dandelion, collards etc. really small and shred some carrots and mix it. It is a great way to make sure your tort is getting a healthy diet.

I refer to it as tortoise crack, because my Tyrone LOVES it! I swear he knows when he is I am making his Mazuri breakfast, because he paces and as soon as he sees me coming with it he races to me!

I know! It drives me nuts! Though my Female Russian has pretty good manners while eating But as soon as my baby Leopard is done eating, he stomps all over it! After I JUST spent 10 minutes preparing all those fresh greens! Silly tort's
