Hold her! I will pick this beautiful cat!
Beautiful cat. I would make sure my animals were safe and I'd be sitting up every night trying to see her.
The cat was euthanized yesterday...
That's sad. They couldn't just re-home it. Humans ugh!

Was any thought given to tranquilizing it and relocating it to a very remote spot?

Tammy. Don't you know that nowadays it only has to SEEM like a threat?!
As of yesterday they have euthanized 2 cougars... both had domestic goats inside them...
No Tammy, but in Oregon they believe those animals possess a significant danger to people because they weren't afraid of us. They associate humans with food. I hate this state actually...a lot
I just wonder what scenario happened that they are no longer afraid of humans and equate people with finding food. Were they displaced because of fires and trying to find food? Lack of habitat in other words. If they were displaced so was their prey animals. Since we have caused this we really do owe them help but releasing back to no habitat with no help is crazy too.
