For the day when my rescue with mbd will be able to walk the length of his enclosure without stopping and resting a few times. I hate to watch him struggle. I'm hoping with room to walk around and exercise he will get stronger.

Do you give him hydrotherapy? It really helped my rescue leopard. She/he couldn't pick himself up onto his feet and barely used his back legs. At least once a day I did the therapy and with more room to roam she came along really well.

Was that the swimming therapy? Did you hold them afloat?

How exactly did you do it?

On a positive note, he seems to be quite happy.

I filled a container with warm water, to deep for her to touch bottom, so she had to swim, building up her leg muscles/strength. If she stopped or seemed tired, I would hold her with a couple fingers under her she'll between her front legs. Got the idea from Yvonne who had used it before.
