This is Little V (V = Vic Morgan). It is a brand new hatchling Manouria emys phayrei. I kept one of mine that hatched earlier this year, and will put them together eventually. Seems like everything I hatch is male, and the two Mep I bought from Vic many years ago were female, so I'm hoping I now have 1.1 Mep. Since William took the big ones home with him to San Diego, I miss them. Now I just have to wait for these to grow.

Always a great day when the stork delivers! Congrats. Looks bigger than a hatchling. What's she weigh?

I have no idea. I don't really weigh and measure until they're a couple years old.

Probably better that way. I weighed Ponce weekly for the first year. Only benefit in retrospect is that he has no fear of scales!
