I'm going to do a re-designing of my turtle's enclosure here in the next week or so; adding some cypress mulch for humidity, getting a CHE so she can have darker nights, and some new hides.
I was looking at the enclosures section of the forum, but most of those are either outside or for turtles much larger than mine.

I'd like to see pics of indoor box turtle enclosures, or any suggestions for things to add that they enjoy!

Can we have a pic of what she's in? Are you leaning towards an aquarium or a tortoise table? How big is your boxie?
Sorry for all the questions!:D

A site about making a rubbermaid style one: http://www.boxturtlesite.info/indoor.html

Here are a couple examples:

And if you're ok with DIY there's this one:

Right now she's in a re-purposed guinea pig cage; the bottom is like one of the short rubbermaid containers, only it's made with a wire top that rises about a foot above it which has actually turned out to be convenient for her lights. It's probably got equivalent floor-space to a 40long tank (she gets out to roam the room a little every day).
I'll get a picture up soon; I know it's not optimal, but she was a rescue so I didn't really have time to do research beforehand. She's an adult btw :)

Thanks for the examples! If I can scrounge up the money, I would love to try making an enclosure like that wooden one. But I'm definitely going to use these to switch up her current container ASAP.
