Is fogging common?

There is so much condensation on the glass and in and around the Viv. The temp is right as well as humidity without me even spraying the Viv so why is it getting so misty?

The law of dew point. I'm horrible at explaining it. If your room is cooler than the inside of your viv (which it is) it leads to the condensation. The greater the difference in temps, the more condensation.

It's like when you have an ice cold glass of a tasty drink in a warm room and the glass "sweats", except this condensation is on the outside of the glass.

I hope I didn't just make that more confusing [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES][GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

You must have a nice tight top on it...good. Even if you do not add water on purpose you have other items of moisture, perhaps your water dish? I have a water dish that is set directly below the heat lamp (I do this because this particular enclosure is occupied by a tort that has proven this to be his fav set up) and due to this I have to add water a couple times per day because the water dish acts like a humidifier, I can watch the steam come off of the water at different times of the day, when the tort is not in it that is ....

Also, your tort likely urinates within the enclosure and that with the right warmth/tight top/difference in temp of inside of enclosure vs the temp of the surrounding room= all equal the ability for condensation/sweat to occur in the enclosure and on the glass panels...

Just make sure the temps always remain warm enough, as I bet you are to get this affect...

Yeah the water dish is the cold side, but my room is freezing so that's why it's quite steamy hahahha
