Looks like a northern. Most my northerns started out orangey/red then turned more yellow as they grow. There also looks to be a lot of scales for a Brazilian, and the nose doesn’t look bulbous like the Brazilians have.

It would help to ID it if you showed us his plastron, a side view of the head (to better see the nose), and the front legs (one characteristic of what are commonly called 'cherry-heads' is an enlarged scale that looks kind of like a hook or spur on the knee.)
Lots of people sell brightly colored redfoots as 'cherryheads' but real cherryheads are either a different species, a subspecies, or at least a color morph from Eastern Brazil - depending on how further research goes.
