It is hard to tell for sure at this point....the texas tort usually is smaller at adult age than the other "desert torts" and a bit more tan coloring....BUUUUT if I had to lay a guess simply by looking at this pic...I would have to go with CDT due to the age....again, this is my guess and of course others will have their guess as well ...so wait around and see what the general feeling is....I love this stuff....:D

Also, I am sooooooooo green with envy of that lovely grazing space...beautiful greeeeen and lush....

I'm going with hybrid between the two. The desert tortoise has a nuchal scute, while the Texas tortoise has none, with a big "v" shaped space right behind the head. This tortoise has the "v" shape, but it looks like there's a bit of a nuchal scute too.

Yvonne, that was tossing me as well, so that is why I went the way I did....lol....this is getting fun....neeeeext guess please...:D:D:D:D:D
