Dry zone around his nostrils , I assume this isn't normal , is it? he had a small discharge of liquid too... and puffy eyes. I'm worried!20121206_134435.jpg

Honestly, he looks sick to me. The dryness Might be calcium if he'd been munching down on it, and his eyes Might only be partially opened because you just woke him up or something, but, if not...I would say he might be sick and you should get him checked out at the vet.

Might be an upper respiratory tract infection. Looks like dried snot to me. A visit to the vet and possibly the use of an antibiotic may be well advised.

He looks dry to me....what I mean is he looks a bit dehydrated, what do you offer as a means of hydration for him?

I soak him every single day in warm shallow water, but after he gets dry that dray area reappears. I also have a drinking plate in their terrarium. The good thing is that he still has his appetite. Whereas my other little baby eats very little. People recommended to separate them but... I honestly don't have space or the money to get another terrarium with the right conditions. I will keep them together for now. Everyday I wake them up to soak them go for a stroll in the sun when the weather is nice and then eat their veggies. Then they go back to sleep...
I will ring the local vet, but I think he is not specialised in reptiles... :(

two years ago one of my turtles was sick, with her eyes almost closed and the vet recommended vitamin A and rinse his eyes with the product which you can see in the picture below, and he got better after a week.
