Is this temporary enclosure okay?

So I am moving and I have this bin that I put my Russian tortoise in temporarily to move him in. It is only for 2-3 days. I just wanted to make sure it was okay for him. And also, any tips for reducing stress? I want my little buddy to be the comfiest and he can be! ( 1st one is the temporary enclosure, and the second one is his normal enclosure ) I also forgot to mention, the car drive in 12-13 hours long. Do you think he will be comfortable for that long of a drive in the bin?

I am of the opinion that your tortoise will be the least stressed in a dark, snug environment with stable temperatures during the drive.

I'm just curious so someone with more experience then me could maybe answer but when transiting with a tortoise in the car, could you use a travel heat pad UNDER the plastic tub and then just keep it dark with a lid with some holes so they would at least have some consistent ambient heat? I imagine the process of moving with them is still going to be stressful either way though .
